ACADEMICS

Students spend half their day learning in the French language and the other half in English subjects.

Students are exposed to all subject areas with a particular focus on math and literacy as they are the foundational building blocks for further learning.

Kindergarten:
Our Kindergarten program provides a meaningful child centered curriculum that builds life skills, independence, confidence and resilience to support each child in achieving their potential. Students are provided with a comprehensive Kindergarten ¨Program offering a focus on the French language as well as mathematics and literacy.
With a guided inquiry approach to instruction, students will learn about content of interest and be engaged with their learning.

Our students will develop a solid foundation in literacy and mathematics for continued success in future years.

Communication

We believe that parents deserve to know as much as possible about their child’s education. So, we offer multiple points of contact with parents to share students progress, classrooms and meet the staff.

1. Meet the Teacher Night
This occurs every September. Teachers and staff meet families and answer any questions you may have about the school and programming.

2. Parent-Teacher Interviews
Interviews are held at the end of each term and are one-on-one opportunities to discuss individual student growth.

3. Emails/Newsletters
Weekly emails and monthly newsletters will be sent out to share school successes, upcoming events and exciting initiatives that are happening around the school.

4. Ongoing, flexible communication
Communication between home and school is important to us. No matter how parents prefer to communicate—email, telephone, Google Meet – the school is flexible and accommodating. Please contact your child’s teacher to set up communication that is convenient for you.

5. Parent Portal

Password protected portal that provides information about upcoming events.
